Don't Jump: Part 9Tom led a weak Bill down the stairs to the Hotel Lobby where the EMT's, reporters, and fans awaited them. The paramedics took a semi-conscious Bill from Tom and rolled him out to the Ambulance where Tom sat with Bill. At the Hospital, they bandaged Bill's hand and put him in his own room until further notice.
The Nurse told Tom where Bill was staying and he peeked his head in. Bill was sound asleep, so Tom pulled a chair up next to his bed and waited.

Bill felt the cold winter’s breeze pick up as more snow started to fall. He had made it to the edge of the roof and was not turning back. Bill opened his eyes and looked down.
